Meet Stephanie (Rich) Dacey – The undisputed leader of our team.
A native Iowan, Stephanie grew up on a farm in Southeast Iowa. She learned tremendous small-town values during that time that would pay off in both sports and business.
Though Stephanie is not from Des Moines, some of the best moments of her life took place here. In high school, Stephanie led Washington to three straight Class 3A state basketball championships. She holds the distinction of being named the Tournament MVP all 4 seasons, including when Washington finished runner-up her Freshman year. When she graduated, she held the all-time record for every major statistical category of the state tournament. Her high school basketball career culminated in being named Miss Iowa Basketball and Gatorade Player of the Year in 2001 and being honored with an induction into the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union’s Basketball Hall of Fame in 2007.
Stephanie continued to excel in basketball during her 4 seasons at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. She was twice named the Team MVP and finished just shy of 1,000 points in her career. She followed her playing career into coaching – first at Furman University in South Carolina and then for 5 seasons at Saint Louis University (SLU).

It was while coaching at SLU that Stephanie met her husband, Tony, a St. Louis native. When her time at SLU came to an end, Stephanie made the decision to take on the real estate world. Real estate sales was a natural transition for her talents, and despite not being from St. Louis, she quickly became a top-producer. Her secret – she always put her clients’ interests above her own and dedicated herself to obtaining great results on their behalf. She achieved tremendous success in real estate and was destined for bigger achievements. But life has a funny way of working itself out.
In 2022, Stephanie (and Tony) made the decision to move to Williamsburg, Iowa to coach the girls’ basketball team and to live a much more peaceful, quiet life with their young son. Stephanie quickly found herself back in the Iowa high school girls’ basketball spotlight. In 2025, she led Williamsburg to its first ever State Tournament win and won Regional & District Coach of the Year Honors.
Stephanie began leading Diamond House Cleaning in 2024 when her and Tony purchased the long-established company. Cleaning was tremendously important in Stephanie’s real estate career, and she was confident that operating a cleaning business would be a natural transition. Stephanie has hit the ground running, immediately implementing procedures to place quality and the clients’ needs first. Just like in basketball, Stephanie’s entire focus is on implementing the correct processes so that the results will naturally follow.
Diamond House Cleaning continues to grow with new clients, and from a recent acquisition of customers from Excellence Co, LLC. Stephanie is certain to take Diamond House Cleaning to new heights. Give her a call today to see how we can serve you.
